FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Hopefully you will find the answers to all of your questions here, but if not, please just give us a call or send us an email

You can either send us an email or call us. We will arrange a mutually convenient time to come round and provide you with a quote. This includes a site survey to check access. We will leave you a card with the quoted prices for each service that you have requested.

When you first accept the quote we will offer you our next available date. We send a text message or call you the day before to ensure that you remember to close windows and unlock any gates.

No, we use pure water which we carry in a tank in our vans.

We accept payment by Bank transfer, Cash, or Cheque. We will leave a payment card which contains all of the information you need.

It is not necessary to dry the windows. Pure water will dry without leaving streaks as it does not contain the impurities of ordinary tap water.

Yes we will (unless it is torrential!). We provide our services all year. The rain should not affect the the clean.

Generally, yes, it may depend on access in your garden. We always carry out a site survey when we provide you with a quote so we will confirm this at the time.

Yes, we have a back pack system which we can use when access is a problem although you will need to be home so that we can walk through to the rear of your property.

Yes we do and we can provide you with a quote.

Not usually. There may be the very rare exception if you have one or two particularly old and delicate windows that we do not feel would be appropriate for the water fed pole system.

No, if the gate is locked we will leave a card to say we visited and you will need to contact us to rebook..

If the gate is locked with a bolt and we are able to reach over to unlock it (and you are happy for us to) then we will, otherwise we will need to arrange the clean for a time when you are at home.

We can if the occupant of the property below you is having their windows cleaned at the same time. Dirty water from your window clean will drip onto the windows below and unfortunately in the past, our staff have received abuse but if your neighbour is happy to have their windows cleaned at the same time, we would love to provide you with a quote.

Unfortunately, not, we are a small team, and while we want to do our utmost to satisfy our customers, our staff work very hard Monday to Friday so we don't ask them to work on Saturdays.

Please get in touch by phone or email within 24 hours and we will do what we can to rectify the situation. If you have any concern about any part of the service please notify us immediately.

After the first clean, your windows may be left with small white rings on the glass, this is known as spotting. Spotting is caused by the pure water continuing to clean and seek out dirt and detergent which is hidden behind the window frames and seals. As the water evaporates it leaves the dirt and detergent behind on the glass. Spotting happens very rarely, but if it happens to you please call us within 24 hours of the clean and we will happily come and re-clean your windows at no cost to you.

Our exterior cleaning is carried out using the Reach & Wash™ water fed pole system. We use this system over traditional methods due to the high level of safety to our staff, clients and general public. The system involves cleaning the windows, cladding, fascias and conservatories from the ground thus minimising the use of ladders. The Reach & Wash™ System works by producing pure water which is passed through carbon fibre poles fixed with soft brushes.

• Cleans more effectively than conventional methods
• Operators work from the safety of the ground, which eliminates the need for ladders and high access equipment
• Previously inaccessible windows can be reached with ease
• Environmentally friendly - no detergents or chemicals are used
• Easily reaches over lawns, flowerbeds and shrubs
• No detergent residue means windows stay cleaner for longer
• Frames are cleaned at the same time as the glass
• Reduces disturbance and maintains upper floor privacy

Maintaining the roof is the key but the frequency of the clean will depend on your environment. Most customers have their conservatory roof cleaned once or twice per year.

Yes, we bring all of the equipment, but this is the only service which would rely on a power supply from you.
